YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - It's officially summer at Penguin City Brewing.

The brewery held their summer kickoff block party and night market Thursday evening.

Penguin City launched a reimagined version of the market with over 50 vendors offering everything from sourdough bread to crocheted items and vinyl records.

Organizers say having the market on a weeknight gives more of an opportunity for professional vendors to sell their goods.

"It's nice for people who are professional vendors who do this for a living to fill in those gaps in their schedule," organizer Heather Seno said. "I'm just so happy that we get to fill in a Thursday evening for them."

Night markets at Penguin City are held every third Thursday of the month.
