POLAND TWP., Ohio - Firefighters from several departments spent more than four hours on the scene of a deadly house fire in Poland Township.

Dispatchers were told before midnight that flames had broken out in a home on New Castle Road just west of the state line, with a disabled person possibly trapped inside.

One woman died in the blaze. Her name has not yet been released.

Western Reserve Joint Fire District Chief David "Chip" Comstock told 21 News that there are no fire hydrants in the neighborhood, and trucks had to bring in water.  In addition, Comstock said that the home is well constructed, making it difficult for firefighters to put out the fire inside the home's walls.

Investigators are looking for the cause of the fire.
