Blood drives in Mercer County gives donors opportunity to win a car

Mercer County, Pa. - Vitalant, a nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organization, is holding blood drives across Mercer County throughout most of July and those who donate blood will be entered into a giveaway for a chance at winning a car.
The blood drives are going to be held in various locations across Mercer County, below are the dates and locations of the upcoming blood drives.

Vitalant welcomes all blood types but does say that Type O and platelet donors are especially needed due to Type O blood's flexibility when transfusing and platelets help stop bleeding.
Those who donate their blood at a Vitalant blood drive between July 9 and July 31 will be entered into a giveaway to win $30,000 that will go to a car at a dealership of the winner's choosing.
