Bail reduced for Las Vegas man in alleged Sharon home invasion

SHARON, Pa. - A Las Vegas man initially held on $250,000 bail after an alleged home invasion in Sharon has seen his bail reduced to $150,000.
Stephen Kyle Hansen, 33, appeared before Magisterial District Judge Mary Ann Odem Tuesday for a preliminary hearing, where his case was held for common pleas court, where his formal arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 2.
As of late Tuesday, Hansen remained in the Mercer County Prison, unable to post bail. He was arrested on June 18 by the Sharon City Police Department.
Police Chief Edward Stabile previously stated that officers responded to a disturbance on Hull Street shortly before 12:30 p.m. on June 18. According to police, Hansen approached a man outside his home and attempted to enter the victim's vehicle. The victim then entered his home, and Hansen allegedly followed.
Authorities said the victim shot at Hansen, who then fled the house and ran to a nearby vacant home. No one was injured by the gunfire.
