AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - A portion of Crum Road in Austintown was closed for a while on Sunday after a car veered off the road and crashed into a house.

The incident happened around 7 p.m.

Police say the car careened off the side of the road and split two utility poles before crashing into the front porch of a home.

The driver ended up trapped inside the car but was conscious and talking with EMTs before being taken to the hospital.

The area between 4180 and 4200 Crum Road was blocked in both directions.

According to the FirstEnergy outage map, 61 customers were in the dark. Power has since been restored.
