WARREN, Ohio - A report from the Warren Police Department reveals why several officers and ambulances were sent to a neighborhood on the city’s northeast side early Saturday.

Dispatchers got a call about a fight involving approximately 10 people on North Park Avenue and Fremont Avenue NE shortly before 1 a.m.

A woman reported her boyfriend was being assaulted with baseball bats and skateboards, and that some of those involved were bleeding.

Police identified seven victims in the fight. Three people were treated for facial cuts. Another person reported a swollen arm.

The report lists several as both victims and suspects. Police seized a skateboard described in the report as the item that struck one of the victims.
