LISBON The case of a hospital chaplain from Beloit facing child pornography charges is now in the hands of a grand jury in Columbiana County.
The grand jury is now considering the case of 37-year-old Joseph Sabella, a chaplain at Aultman Hospital in Alliance, who is facing charges of pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
He remains free on bond as he awaits the grand jury's verdict.
Sabella was arrested in his home on Stanley Drive by the Mahoning County Human Trafficking Task Force. He was placed on leave by the hospital following his arrest.
