YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Arms Family Museum will be opening up a new exhibit featuring Mill Creek Park on July 8, 2025.

According to a news release, the exhibit will be located in the second floor hallway of the Arms Family Museum.

The exhibit, titled "A Walk Through Youngstown's Mill Creek Park", features the history of Mill Creek Park.

Some background information of Mill Creek Park is included in the release.

Founded in 1891 and opened in 1893, the park opened to guests and attracted city residents and visitors.

Several sites are attractions within the park that continue to draw in guests, including:

  • Pioneer Pavilion
  • Lanterman's Mill
  • "Cinderella Bridge"

Photographs of these sites are featured in the exhibit.

Additionally, guests viewing the exhibit will have the opportunity to learn more about individuals that were formative to the park.

The exhibit will run until the end of October. 

The Arms Family Museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
