AUSTINTOWN  One person was injured in a traffic accident near the historic log cabin in Austintown.

A car ran into a pole along South Raccoon Road near Burgett Road shortly before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A rescue squad was dispatched to the scene after it was reported that a man had a head injury.

The front of the car was damaged.

There's no word yet on the cause of the crash or how serious the injuries are.
