East Liverpool diver in Texas to support search and recovery efforts

Two divers are headed to Texas as of Tuesday to help aid in search, recovery and rescue efforts amid the aftermath of the flooding across Central Texas.
Dale Hammon of East Liverpool told 21 News that a call was sent out for additional assistance, particularly the help of blackwater divers.
"We're used to low visibility, and we decided to answer the call," said Hammon.
Nate Payne of Struthers, Hammon's nephew, will be accompanying Hammon on this trip as a surface support diver.
Hammon told 21 News that in the past, they have been able to dive into flooded homes and search the floors, searching for individuals to recover.
When the pair arrive, Hammon and Payne will be meeting with a group of divers called 300 Justice Road.
"They're out of Houston, Texas and it's a group of retired Navy SEALs who are there now waiting on our arrival tomorrow morning," said Payne.
Hammon and Payne will be bringing additional diving equipment with them to Texas, aiming to help the 300 Justice Road group to suit up more divers.
"I brought a lot of extra equipment, so we can get more divers suited up so we're able to perform our task," said Hammon.
