LIBERTY Police are investigating after gunfire at a church in Liberty Township sent several people running on Saturday.

According to a police report, a call came in just before 9 p.m. Saturday reporting shots being fired at Pleasant Valley Church in Liberty Township.

The caller told police he was on the pickleball court and heard gunfire and saw between 10 and 15 people running away from the basketball court into a wooded area.

The police report does not say whether or not anyone was struck by the gunfire. No suspects have been named at this time.
