Mahoning County Commissioners advertise bids for pedestrian bridge in Poland

POLAND Bidding is now being advertised for a project to replace a pedestrian bridge in Poland Village.
The agenda for Thursday's Mahoning County Commissioners meeting shows that bid would be advertised for the Poland Village Pedestrian Bridge Improvement Project.
The project calls for the replacement of the bridge commonly referred to as the "Graffiti Bridge," as well as the sanitary line underneath it.
Mahoning County Engineer Pat Ginnetti previously told 21 News concerns about the bridge date back to 2021 when Poland's engineer recommended the bridge be closed.
The bridge remained open despite that recommendation.
Ginnetti told us the project was expected to cost upwards of $600,000 that will be paid with ARP funds.
