GIRARD & LIBERTY, Ohio - Some residents in Girard and Liberty were under a boil alert Saturday afternoon. One of those boil alerts has been lifted as of Monday afternoon.

The City of Girard posted on Facebook that a boil alert is in effect on Middle and Overbrook Drives in Liberty, and Plymouth and Clermont Avenues in Girard.

A follow up post from Monday states that the boil alert for Middle and Overbrook Drives in Liberty Township has been lifted. There is no indication as to when the Girard boil alert will be lifted yet.

Water mainline repairs due to a line break is the cause for both alerts.
