The Canfield 12U softball team captured the Ohio Little League softball state championship.

Canfield beat Wheelersburg twice Monday 6-3 and 6-4 at the Fields of Dreams in Boardman.

The team advances to the Regional Tournament in Whitestown, Indiana July 20-25 at the Central Region Complex.
