Friday court hearing set for man suspected of torching Warren home

WARREN The man suspected of setting a fire that destroyed a home in Warren Sunday morning is scheduled for arraignment in that city's municipal court on Friday.
Thirty-three-year-old Andrew Jordan is charged with three counts of aggravated arson in connection with a fire that took place on the 600 Block of Porter Street Sunday morning.
The fire took place around 7 a.m. Sunday. Ring doorbell camera footage captures a man believed to be Jordan on the front porch with a cigarette in his mouth and a cup in his hand.
The video then cuts off, but when it resumes, the suspect is seen running away from a fire. Investigators believe Jordan intentionally set the fire with a t-shirt from a clothesline on the porch.
Three people were able to escape from the home, and crews rescued a dog as well. One of the occupants had to punch open a second-story window and jump out onto an SUV, according to a neighbor.
That person was taken to the hospital with a broken pelvis.
