CANFIELD TWP., Ohio - A roadway in Canfield Township will remain closed a little longer than anticipated.

Mellinger Road closed Tuesday, July 22 between State Route 62 and South Raccoon Road for culvert replacements, and was expected to reopen by Saturday, July 26.

However, the closure has since been extended through Friday, August 1. Until then, drivers will still be detoured from SR-62 to South Raccoon Road.

Overnight closures are possible in the area.
