NILES, Ohio - Coming soon to the Howland Commons Niles is getting ready to be joined by a new retail location, Sierra.

The company specializes in active and outdoor products. The new opening will be Sierra's sixth location in Ohio.

The grand opening is scheduled for August 9 with a celebration set to include giveaways, music from a local DJ and a hidden tag hunt giving shoppers a chance to win a free store gift card.

Siera made a $10,000 donation to a local non-profit, Trumbul Mobile Meals, as a good faith gesture to the community. 

"At Sierra, our goal is to bring communities extraordinary prices on the active apparel, footwear and gear they need to make the most of the activities they love doing every day," says Amanda Johnson, Assitant Vice President of Marketing at Sierra.

The store is currently hiring both full-time and part-time employees with positions available on their website.
