Sporting goods store set to open new Boardman location in August
BOARDMAN A sporting goods and outdoor recreation retailer will be opening a new location in the Mahoning Valley.
Academy Sports + Outdoor, a full-line sporting goods store, is set to open its new Boardman location in August, 2025.
A grand opening date has not yet been announced.
The store can be found at 1280 Doral Drive, and will feature a wide assortment of sporting and outdoor merchandise.
Consumers will be able to find an assortment of brands at the location, including Nike, Adidas, Jordan Brand, Carhartt, Stanley and more.
The new location is expected to bring in an estimated 60 jobs to the community.
