Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan dead at 71

CLEARWATER, Fla. - According to a TMZ report, professional wrestler Hulk Hogan has died.
TMZ Sports reports that medics were sent to Hogan's home in Clearwater, Florida early Thursday morning after a call for cardiac arrest.
The outlet reported in June that Hogan, 71, was on his deathbed, something his wife denied.
Hogan began his career in 1977 and eventually made his way to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1979. He left the promotion in 1981, returning two years later after his feature role in Rocky III.
His return led to the rise of "Hulkamania," and the wrestling boom that lasted throughout the 1980s.
Hogan won the WWF Championship in 1984, holding the belt for more than four years. Over his career, he would hold the world championship 12 times across the WWF and World Championship Wrestling.
He also spent time as an actor in both television and movie roles, most notably as Randolph J. Spencer in "Thunder in Paradise," and Rip Thomas in "No Holds Barred."
Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, had a number of controversies over the years, including a leaked sex tape and recording of him using a racial slur.
