Two road projects scheduled to start this week in Mahoning County have been delayed.

Renkenberger Road in Beaver Township was scheduled to close between New Buffalo Road and State Route 164 for a culvert replacement Monday, July 28 and Tuesday, July 29.

However, that closure has been pushed back a week and will now take place Monday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 5. 

The posted detour is New Buffalo Road South to State Route 46 to State Route 14 to State Route 164.

Additionally, Lincoln Road in Beaver Township was scheduled to close for culvert replacements Wednesday, July 30 through Friday, August 1 between Lynn and Calla Roads.

This closure has been pushed back a week and will now take place Wednesday, August 6 through Friday, August 8.

There will be no access to Lincoln Road from Calla. The recommended detour is Calla Road to New Buffalo Road to Lynn Road.

Mahoning County

  • State Route 14 (Village of Beloit; Goshen, Green & Smith Townships) is closing Monday for resurfacing and bridge repairs. The section of State Route 14 between Smith Goshen and W Calla Roads will be closed through late August. The posted detour is State Route 14 to U.S. 224 to State Route 534.

Trumbull County

  • U.S. Route 62 is closing Monday due to a culvert replacement. The replacement will close U.S. Route 62 between Bell Wick Road and Woodbine Avenue through Thursday. The recommended detour is U.S. 422 to State Route 193 to State Route 304.

Columbiana County

  • Brookdale Avenue will close over Leslie Run beginning August 1. The roadway will close through August 10.
