Report: No foul play suspected in death of missing Campbell man

YOUNGSTOWN The Mahoning County Coroner has identified the body found Sunday in a wooded area on East Myrtle Avenue as 40-year-old Richard Allen Rayford.
Rayford had previously been reported missing from Campbell since Thursday, July 17.
Youngstown Police and Campbell Police are investigating after the body was found in a field on Youngstown's south side.
The media release states that the cause of death will be investigated by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office.
21 News spoke with neighbors who said a body was found in a yard on E. Myrtle Avenue near Erie Street around noon Sunday. Police say the body appears to have been decomposed for several days.
Police were called after a foul smell was reported in the area. According to a police report, the caller told officers the smell had been there for at least three days.
There's no word yet on how Rayford died, but police say no foul play is suspected at this time.
