Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club hosts fundraiser for infant weighing one pound at birth

BOARDMAN The Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club played host to community members for a fundraiser aimed at raising money for the family of an infant who weighed a litle over one pound after her birth.
The Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club was in Boardman on Tuesday at Double Bogey's, located at 7401 Market Street in Boardman, for the dual fundraiser and car show.
Aadalynn Bailey was born via emergency cesarean section in September of 2024, weighing one pound and four ounces.
She had to be immediately resuscitated after birth.
Now, as of July in 2025, Aadalynn Bailey, the recipient of the 2025 fundraiser through the Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club, weighs 13 pounds.
However, Bailey still struggles with medical conditions.
According to a flyer advertising the car club's upcoming event, "Cars in the Park", Bailey has eye and kidney issues, had a bowel perforation and requires multiple specialist visits at Akron Children's Hospital, as well as needing special formula.
The "Cars in the Park" event will also be raising money for Bailey's family, and will be located at Boardman Park, located at 375 Boardman Poland Road, on August 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine.
The event features door prizes, food, face painting, a 50/50 drawing, a luck auction, a kids corner and more.
Awards for cars registered in the "Cars in the Park" event will be presented at 3 p.m. on the day of the event. Additionally, the first 250 cars will receive a dash plaque.
Parking is free for the event.
According to the "About" page of the Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club website, the Children Fund has provided about $250,000 to over 60 children.
