Calcutta Fire Department responds to fire in HVAC unit at cell phone store
According to a post from the department's Facebook profile, responders arrived at the Verizon Wireless store, located at 15765 OH-170, for reports of the building filling with smoke.
CALCUTTA, Ohio - Firefighters from the Calcutta Fire Department were on the scene of a fire within an HVAC unit just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.
According to a post from the department's Facebook profile, responders arrived at the Verizon Wireless store, located at 15765 OH-170, for reports of the building filling with smoke.
When responders arrived, they discovered that the HVAC unit on the roof was on fire.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it spread further.
