A section of road in Columbiana County will be closed for five days.

State Route 45 will close on Monday and remain closed until Friday while crews work.

The reason for the closure is listed to be a slope stabilization project.

The closure is located one mile north of State Route 7 from Pleasant Valley Road to Torrence Drive.

A detour is provided with drivers being urged to take State Route 7 to U.S. 30 to get back to State Route 45.

The aim is to finish the project and reopen the roadway on August 8, 2025, weather permitting.
