EAST LIVERPOOL An East Liverpool man pled no contest to his involvement in a crash that claimed the life of a 76-year-old man in April of 2023.
Paul Vojnovich, who turns 70 years old Friday, pled no contest and was found guilty of one count of vehicular homicide/manslaughter. He is set for sentencing Monday, August 25.
The charge stems from a crash in April of 2023 when Vojnovich hit and killed 76-year-old James Schmitt, who was crossing the street as Vojnovich was driving a Jeep Compass.
