VIENNA TWP., Ohio - Cortland man died Sunday night after his motorcycle hit a deer on State Route 193 in Vienna Township.

James Eschborn, 63, was riding a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on Route 193 around 9:02 p.m. when the crash occurred, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Eschborn was taken by Vienna Township EMS to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
