GROVE CITY, Pa. - Editor's Note: This story has been updated to correct the deceased's last name. Police had originally provided the wrong name.
Troopers believe alcohol to be a contributing factor to a deadly motorcycle crash in Mercer County Tuesday night.
According to Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), the crash happened around 8 p.m. in the 900 block of Springfield Church Road in Grove City.
When troopers got to the scene, they found 39-year-old Jeremy Gildersleeve dead at the scene, as well as Gilderson's motorcycle lying in the roadway heavily damaged.
Troopers say Gildersleeve was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and alcohol consumption is believed to be a contributing factor.
Troopers do not believe any charges will be filed in connection with the crash.
