Leavittsburg man pleads guilty to a dozen child pornography charges

WARREN A Leavittsburg man who is already incarcerated for showing children pornography pled guilty to a dozen more child pornography charges on Wednesday.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 45-year-old James Harper pled guilty to a dozen child pornography charges. A sentencing date will be set following a pre-sentence investigation.
Harper is currently serving a year-and-a-half prison sentence for disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and pandering obscenity.
Trumbull County Assistant Prosecutor Gabe Wildman previously told 21 News that additional charges were filed against Harper after a search warrant revealed 40 devices containing child pornography.
That search warrant took place while Harper's first case was pending. Wildman added that some of the files found on Harper's devices showed known victims in the community.
