Instant coffee sold at Ohio, PA Dollar General stores recalled due to potential presence of glass

Ohio & PA - Dollar General has issued a recall on multiple lots of Clover Valley Instant Coffee products sold at stores in both Ohio and Pennsylvania due to the potential presence of glass.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the recalled products have expiration dates of December 13, 2026 and December 14, 2026 and lot codes L-5163, L-5164 and L-5165.
The recall was issued after a customer notified a Dollar General employee about the issue. Dollar General is now investigating the source of the glass contamination.
The FDA says ingesting glass could cause injuries including damage to the teeth, laceration of the mouth and throat and perforation of the intestine. So far, there have been no reported injuries connected to the recalled products.
