Vindicator, Trib subscribers to have papers delivers by post office beginning Saturday

Mahoning & Trumbull County - Those who are subscribed to The Vindicator and Tribune Chronicle's home delivery service will see a change in delivery method beginning Saturday, August 16.
According to a letter distributed to home delivery service subscribers, daily newspapers will now be delivered to subscribers' mailboxes through the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) with the rest of their mail beginning Saturday.
USPS offers same-day delivery to Vindicator and Tribune subscribers according to the letter.
It is unclear if this change applies to all routes or only certain ones.
"The Tribune Chronicle and The Vindicator will still provide you with the local news and information you need to stay connected with your community. We hope you will continue to receive the local news and sports that you are accustomed to reading every day as a Tribune or Vindicator subscriber," the letter reads.
Additionally, home delivery subscriptions include access to the papers' e-editions, exact replicas of the newspapers in electronic form. Those without access to the e-edition can call 330-841-1702 to set up their account.
21 News reached out to The Vindicator to ask why this change was happening. We were told the paper had "no comment."
