Upcoming superintendent training program announced in eastern Ohio

Ohio - The Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio (ESC of Eastern Ohio) has just announced its upcoming free professional training program for current or aspiring school Superintendents.
The Aspiring Superintendents Network is an eight-session program led by experienced educational leaders and focuses on real-world challenges and skills that have proven to be useful.
According to the ESC of Eastern Ohio, some of the planned topics include governance, instructional improvement, school safety and community engagement.
The ESC of Eastern Ohio claims participants will receive the following benefits:
- Applied practice of vision setting, board relations and instructional leadership
- Exploration of role-critical topics including school finance, legal responsibilities and operations management.
- Support from a network of veteran superintendants and peers.
To launch the program, the ESC of Eastern Ohio has partnered with the Trumbull County ESC, the Columbiana County ESC, the Region 5 State Support Team and RTH Strategic Planning and Counseling.
The event runs from September 6, 2025 through June 13, 2026 at the ESC of Canfield. Registration is free and closes August 24.
