Section of Niles under boil alert following water line break

NILES A section of Niles is under a boil alert until further notice.
The alert is in effect for First Street, Eliza Avenue from First Street to Second Street and 330 Main Street. The area affected is pictured above.
According to a dispatcher for the Water Department after hours, the boil advisory is related to a water line break.
The water line break has since been repaired, but the city is advising that residents in the area of the alert boil their water.
It is unknown at this time when the boil alert will be lifted.
