"Nearly 16,000 people, including 4,600 children living in Mercer County, are considered food insecure, which by definition means they don't always have access to adequate or nutritious food," said Rebecca Page, Executive Director of the Mercer County Food Bank.
Page continued, addressing Anderson Coach and Travel.
"We are thrilled that Anderson Coach and Travel has joined Mercer County Food Bank's annual major gift program to help us provide food to neighbors facing food insecurity," said Page.
Page went on to say that without the generosity of those who join the program, the Mercer County Food Bank would not be able to keep pace with the ever-growing need.
