Farrell woman accused of intentionally striking car with child in her vehicle

SHARON A woman from Farrell is facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child, after police say she intentionally rammed her vehicle into another car in a parking lot.
Amine Tiece Spindler-Brown, 24, was arrested on Tuesday after the Sharon Police Department responded to a report of a woman screaming at the WIC office on East State Street.
According to a police criminal complaint, a witness told officers that a Kia Sportage, driven by Spindler-Brown, had a Ford blocked in and intentionally struck the Ford. The complaint states there was a child in the rear of the Kia at the time of the collision.
The Ford's driver was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The juvenile passenger in Spindler-Brown's vehicle was not injured.
The affidavit also notes that after her arrest, Spindler-Brown said to police words to the effect, "I know what I did was f----d up." The police report says her statement indicates that she intentionally crashed her car.
Spindler-Brown was arraigned Tuesday night by District Judge Brian Arthur and is being held at the Mercer County Prison after being unable to post a $75,000 monetary bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 5.
