Eastwood Mall provides shoppers with alternate routes during diverging diamond interchange project
Starting Friday, August 29, State Route 46 southbound at State Route 82 will be closed under the bridge for approximately seven weeks.
The Eastwood Mall has provided the following alternative route for drivers to take to the mall:
From SR-46 southbound, turn left onto East Market Street, then turn right onto Howland-Wilson Road, then turn right again onto Howland Springs Road and finally turn left onto SR-46.
The entire diverging diamond interchange project is expected to be completed by late October.

Additionally, an alternative route to avoid the construction has been suggested by the Howland Fire Department.
The alternative detour route is described as:
- Turn left onto East Market Street
- Turn right onto Howland Wilson Road
- Turn left onto Howland Springs Road
- Turn right onto Stillwagon Road
- Turn right onto Mines Road and follow it to the Eastwood Mall Complex
