Canfield Fair attendance up 4,480 people, second day Junior Fair Auction totals released

CANFIELD A spokesperson with the Canfield Fair has announced the attendance numbers of fairgoers from Friday's day of events.
42,053 people checked in to the fair on August 29, 2025.
This is reportedly 4,480 people more than the fair saw on the same day in 2024, which was 37,573.
In addition to the attendance numbers, the results of the second day of the Junior Fair Auctions have been announced.
The Junior Fair Market Auction for Chickens, Market Beef, Duck and Turkey raised $336,500 during Friday's auction.
All of the proceeds from the auction go back to the youth who raised the animals.
The first day of Junior Fair Auctions raised $376,221 and included lamb, swine, fudge, goats and rabbits.
The combined total of the two-day auction is $742,721.
According to the spokesperson, the next auction is at 10 a.m. on Monday, and those interested have the opportunity to register for the auction and bid remotely.
