YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Police and fire crews in Youngstown responded to a two-car crash on the South Avenue Bridge Saturday night.

It happened around 8 p.m. near the Interstate 680 entrance ramp.

Both cars involved were heavily damaged and one of the passengers was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The other people involved were checked by EMTs at the scene.

Police said both drivers were at fault as both of them ran red lights.

The bridge was blocked for a time but has since reopened.
