The biggest county fair in Ohio saw some of the best crowds this year, just under 70,000 people on Sunday alone keeping a tradition of family fun and the tastiest fair foods you can find.

Angels for animals put pups, Guss and Gim to work, raking in the money for a great cause as passerby's put donations in their satchels.

"We've had our donation dogs, four shifts a day a couple hours, they're our big money makers out here at the fair," Robin Helscel, Administrator at Angels for Animals said. "Plus we have our great retail, we have our calendar contests going on too you could vote for your favorite pet," she said.

Fairgoers came in from all 50 states and beyond, according to George Roman, director of grand stand entertainment and concessions.

Fairgoers said this was one of the best years yet.

"I love running into friends and family that you don't get to see all the time," Brenden Lewis of Struthers said. "The sausage, the funnel cakes, I'm a food boy so love coming to the fair every year, the lemon shakes, come on somebody," he said.

"It's so traditonal. It's been going on for so many years, that I don't wanna miss one. the food...the food is the favorite," Kali Desimone of Youngstown said. "It's a really fun fair. It's big, you can't get enough of it," she said.

The night ended with a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert.

Roman said next year they're planning to make it even bigger to celebrate 180 years of the Canfield fair plus 250 years for America.
