More alleged victims come forward following federal civil rights lawsuit against Ursuline High School

YOUNGSTOWN Just one day after a federal civil rights lawsuit was filed in connection with alleged hazing incidents involving the Ursuline High School football team, attorneys tell us even more alleged victims have come forward.
Attorney Subodh Chandra says following the filing of the lawsuit on Tuesday, September 2, two to three more alleged victims and/or witnesses have come forward in this case.
The suit alleges that several members of the Ursuline High School football team had hazed, physically and sexually assaulted another student on the team and recorded and transmitted video of these incidents to other Ursuline students and the community at large.
Chandra did not go into detail about the nature of these new alleged victims' or witnesses' allegations.
The suit claims that the team's coaching staff had dismissed these alleged incidents as "just boys being boys" and alleges that the school's administration did not investigate the matter or take any disciplinary action.
The suit further accuses the school of trying to cover up the situation by deleting posts from its social media pages, as well as telling the football team not to talk about the alleged incidents.
These are just some of the allegations made in the suit. You can find more details about all the allegations made and read the full 200-page lawsuit for yourself in our related coverage below.
