HUBBARD Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that raced through a house in Hubbard Township on Wednesday night.

A 911 caller reported seeing flames coming from the home along Ashlar Avenue near the corner of Knapp Avenue just before 11 p.m.

When crews from the Eagle Joint Fire District and other surrounding departments arrived, they found the blaze had spread through the vacant home. 

Firefighters were called out to the property again just before 5 a.m. when it was reported that the flames had rekindled.

There were no reports of injuries.
