NILES - A water tower on the Northeast side of Niles will be undergoing maintenance that is likely to lead to lower-than-normal water pressure in surrounding homes. 

The tower is located south of Mines Road Southeast and west of Stillwagon Road Southeast.

According to the advisory, the maintenance was scheduled in advance, and the drop in water pressure is expected to last "a few days."

It's unknown how large a radius the water tower serves and how many homes might be affected.
