BOARDMAN A clothing company will soon be relocating one of its stores into the former Huntington Bank building in Boardman.

Co-Owner of Youngstown Clothing Co., Matt McClure, told 21 News that its location in Southern Park Mall would be closing, and that they would be relocating operations to 3801 Boardman-Canfield Road.

McClure said that the Youngstown Clothing Co. has been a part of the Southern Park Mall in some capacity since 2016, and that leaving the mall is "bittersweet."

"We wouldn't be where we are today without the Southern Park Mall," said McClure.

The Southern Park Mall location had its last day on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

The reason for the move, McClure explained, is the longtime wish for a standalone, flagship store that the company can use for both production and retail.

He says that they are looking forward to the future and this new chapter.

The exact date that the new store on Boardman-Canfield Road will open is unknown at this time, but McClure says that it could be sometime in mid-October.

McClure told 21 News that he is excited to get started on new partnerships with schools and businesses and bring production under the same roof.

The Youngstown Clothing Co. location in the Eastwood Mall in Niles will remain open.
