BOARDMAN A Mahoning County grand jury has secretly indicted four men accused of attacking the patron of a Boardman bar earlier this year, leaving him unconscious on the bathroom floor.

The indictment alleges that Kyle Patterson, 26, of Boardman; Tyler Dogoda, 31, of Boardman; Luke A. Collins, 22, of Campbell; and Caleb Gearhart, 26, of Austintown, were booked into the county jail Thursday, each charged with felonious assault.

According to a Boardman police report, officers were dispatched to Mercy Health Hospital in Boardman on Jan. 12 to take a report from a victim who said he was assaulted.

The victim told police he was assaulted by four men in the restroom of Double Bogey's at the Southern Park Mall, at approximately 1:30 a.m. that morning.

According to the police report, Patterson, who he had previously argued with at another bar, and the three other men were already in the restroom when the victim went inside.

The victim stated that Patterson shoved him, and the next thing he remembered was waking up on the restroom floor after the four suspects had left.

Medical personnel at Mercy Health Hospital documented a black eye and a cut on a finger.

All four defendants are scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 23.
