Child pornography probe leads to indictment of 66-year-old Lisbon man

LISBON A Columbiana County grand jury indicted a Lisbon man on nine felony charges related to child sexual assault material, according to court records.
William Kiehl, 66, was indicted on six counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and three counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. The indictment alleges the offenses occurred on or about July 18, 2025.
The indictment follows an investigation by the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force. An affidavit from the task force states a search warrant was executed at Kiehl's home on West Spruce Street. During the search, investigators say they found images of nude children on a computer.
Court documents indicate Kiehl admitted to investigators that he had uploaded one of the images and had obtained other material.
Kiehl is currently being held at the Columbiana County Jail on $100,000 bond and is scheduled for an arraignment on Friday.
