NEW SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - A Mahoning County farm is one of 46 locations included on the state’s inaugural Ohio Corn Maze Trail, a new initiative from TourismOhio.

Maze Craze, a family-owned operation at 14070 Woodworth Road, Springfield Township, is one of the destinations featured on the statewide guide. The farm features four corn mazes and other attractions like hayrides, a corn cannon and a gemstone mining station.

“Corn mazes are where Ohio’s agricultural roots meet our sense of adventure,” said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Department of Development, which oversees TourismOhio. “This trail is a fun reminder that supporting local agriculture also means supporting jobs, communities, and family traditions.”

The 2025 corn maze at Maze Craze is designed with a Winnie the Pooh theme, with trails forming an image of Pooh Bear, Piglet, Tigger and other characters. The mazes vary in difficulty, ranging from a 0.6-mile maze for children to a 5.2-mile maze for people seeking a challenge.

Maze Craze is open on weekends through Nov. 2. Admission costs $14 for people age 4 and older and includes access to all four mazes and games. Additional activities, such as the kiddie zipline and corn cannon, are available for a separate fee. Hayrides are included with maze admission on Saturdays and Sundays.

TourismOhio, the state’s tourism office, launched the trail as a way to encourage travel and support local farms. The trail is available on the Ohio.org website and includes a map of all 46 locations.

“We’re leaning all the way into the corny side of fall, and we love it,” said Sarah Wickham, state tourism director. “With inspiration from our local partners, we’ve turned 46 farms and orchards into a trail full of a-maize-ing fun. Get out there, get lost, and make some memories — that’s what fall in Ohio is all about.”

In addition to the mazes and activities, Maze Craze offers food and drinks at its Craze Cafe, as well as seasonal items for sale, including pumpkins. The farm allows visitors to bring their own flashlights to navigate the mazes after dark.

Maze Craze is located about 15 miles southeast of Youngstown.

The farm is open 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays, noon to 8 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 7 p.m. Sundays.
