Two-day Johnny Appleseed Festival kicks off in Lisbon on Saturday

LISBON The community of Lisbon will be kicking off its 57th Johnny Appleseed Festival beginning on Saturday.
According to information from both the Lisbon Chamber of Commerce website and the Johnny Appleseed Festival Facebook page, over 50 vendors will be in attendance.
In addition to vendors, food trucks will be throughout downtown Lisbon, and some participating businesses are offering drink specials.
Parking, according to Lisbon Mayor Peter Wilson's Facebook page, is available at the parking lot on South Jefferson Street, or parking lots at the Lisbon Presbyterian Church, 111 East Chestnut Street, or at the Lisbon Methodist Church, 114 East Washington Street.
Events, performances, contests and more will be happening across two days in downtown Lisbon.
Saturday, September 20
- 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Firemen's All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Lisbon Fire Hall, 113 South Jefferson Street
- 9:45 a.m. Line-up for Parade at McKinley Elementary School, 441 East Chestnut Street
- 10:45 a.m. Grand Parade begins
- Noon to 7 p.m. Quilt show at the train station
- Noon Crowning of the 2025 Little Miss Apple Blossom and Little Mister Apple Bud at the Main Stage
- Noon to 4 p.m. Classic Car Show at JMullen Motors
- Noon to 8 p.m. Lisbon Historical Society at 119 East Washington Street
