East Liverpool man sentenced to jail in child pornography case

EAST LIVERPOOL An East Liverpool man who pled guilty in July to child pornography charges has learned his fate.
According to a sentencing memorandum, 37-year-old Timothy Gregg was sentenced to 75 days in jail with credit for three days served on three counts each of pandering obscenity involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
Once released, Gregg will be on probation for three years and he must register as a Tier 2 sex offender.
According to an indictment, Gregg's crimes took place in February of 2024 when it was found that Gregg had obscene material with a minor as one of the participants.
The sentencing memorandum states that Gregg has a "very limited" past criminal record and that "the facts of this case are not as egregious as similar cases.
