YOUNGSTOWN  Wean Park will host a second night of entertainment with country musician Tim McGraw performing on Saturday, Sept. 27.

21 News has compiled a guide covering the schedule, travel advisories, ticketing procedures, and a list of prohibited items. Attendees should review the information to minimize potential delays when arriving at the park.

Schedule and Availability

  • Parking lots open at 4 p.m.
  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
  • The show starts at 7 p.m.

Travel and Road Closures

Concertgoers are advised to allow sufficient time for travel, parking and walking to the venue entrance. Significant traffic changes are scheduled for the area surrounding Wean Park.

The Market Street and South Avenue bridges will be closed to vehicle traffic near showtime. These closures are scheduled to begin at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, a half hour before the scheduled start time of the concert.

With parking lots opening at 4 p.m., patrons can use the early window to secure parking and navigate the downtown area before the road closures take effect.

Ticketing and Entry Procedures

To ensure an efficient entry process, organizers have issued specific instructions for ticket holders, differentiating between physical and mobile tickets.

  • Mobile Ticket Holders: Fans using mobile tickets must add their tickets to their Apple Wallet or Android Passbook before traveling to the event. The venue will not accept screenshots of tickets for entry. Mobile ticket holders should have their ticket pulled up and ready on their phone before reaching the entrance line.
  • Physical Ticket Holders: Those with physical tickets are asked to have their ticket ready and in hand before joining the line at the gates.
  • Will Call: Will call services will be available at the Southwoods Health Box Office, located in the Covelli Centre, adjacent to Wean Park.

Payment at Venue

The venue suggests patrons bring cash to the concert. This recommendation is intended to minimize wait times when purchasing items at concession stands and merchandise booths.
