AKRON, Ohio - With Taylor Swift's latest album "The Life of a Showgirl" set to release Friday, Akron Children's Hospital is getting some babies in its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Swiftie spirit.

Akron Children's dressed babies in the NICU in glitzy dresses, friendship bracelets and Travis Kelce jerseys to celebrate not only the new album, but the milestones of their NICU journey.

"Projects like these only deepen the bonds between nursing, support staff and patient families, who often spend weeks, if not months in the NICU," said Kathy Johnson, Senior Corporate Communications Specialist for Akron Children's.

These babies will be part of a video that will soon be posted to Akron Children's social media pages on Tuesday highlighting the moment.
