Fourth graders receive free museum admission, Rep. Robb Blasdel launches Fourth Grade History Pass

Fourth grade marks the year students begin learning about state history. State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel says she wants to give Ohio students a chance to connect with history, hands-on.
Through the newly announced Fourth Grade History Pass, Ohio fourth graders will have free general admission to participating history museums and historic sites across the state.
Rep. Robb Blasdel added in the announcement that the program focuses on bringing state history lessons "to life" and offering students the chance to "explore Ohio's historic sites and museums firsthand."
Valley students participating in the program will have free access to the Canton Museum of Art, Mahoning Valley Historical Society and the McKinley Presidential Library and Museum.
Fourth graders must use a printed or digital pass and be accompanied by one paying adult. The Fourth Grade History Pass will be valid through August 31, 2026.
